On the grounds of good taste I’m not going to go into detail about what happened at hospital this afternoon.
The facilities are good, the staff were cheerful and I was only away from home for 45 minutes (we can see the hospital from our house so travel doesn’t take long). Despite this I’m not very happy with the experience.
It’s hard to feel satisfaction when you go in for tests and come out without having the tests done.
The NHS did not cover itself in glory today.
However, my day was better than the man who was waiting with me. He Β was under the misapprehension that they were going to put the camera down his throat.
Today’s photographs are just a few selected from thousands…
I am sorry about the medical experience. Hopefully all will be taken care of soon.
Thanks. I’ve been putting it off for years – hopefully it is going to be fairly simple to sort out. (It was when I had it done 12 years ago so fingers crossed…)
Aaaaarrrgggghhhh
That was my thought too. Though if they had carried on and pushed the camera it would probably also have been my reaction… π
Yes, hope it’s sorted soon.
They have already started – rang me this morning. π
That is annoying.
Yes, I’d agree with that.
I had a down the throat camera experience just over a year ago. Better than I thought it would be as it goes up the nose first! Sorry the tests weren’t done – what a waste of time and all that adrenalin and nervous tension too!
Lovely photos π
Not sure about the relative merits of insertion points, but I’d like to be able to keep my trousers on! π
I’ve been through the whole camera experience and, take it from me, down the throat is much worse than the other possibility. Small comfort, I know. Hope you get a proper evaluation soon.
I’m sure it will be sorted soon. π
