Corvids and Covid

A couple of days ago I had a message to say that my Classic colour scheme was no longer available, so I am now writing to you using a brighter set-up. It’s strange, Nature has got by for millennia without needing an alternative scheme but WP can’t. Having said that, if Nature had a marketing department and the ability to use email, there’s a good chance we would be looking out of our windows at something in a brighter green most of the summer, followed up by an autumn palette with more blazing gold and more skilful use of the Colour Wheel. As November slid round, with mist and bare trees, the greys of the mist and the sky and the blackness of bare branches would be a gift for an interior designer with a Gothic turn of mind.

But enough musing. I have a list to help me through the day and I intend having a useful one.

I have been thinking about it and have come to the conclusion that I may have had a touch of Covid. I had a distinctive sore throat and have been very tired, so it could be Covid (which seems tom, get less distinctive a s time moves on) or it could just be a higher level of hypochondria, though, with my visit to the internet, it could also be cyberchondria, as I believe they call internet-assisted hypochondria.

The magpies and crows have been very active in the garden for the last few days – four magpies and two crows all competing for food this morning already. One of the crows had a distinctive white-laced appearance. I, of course, did not have a camera to hand. It’s ready now, but the crows have gone.

Pretty thin stuff to day, a possibly imaginary illness and some crows. At least it makes for a decent title.
