Positive!

Yes, I have Covid. It seems that lateral flow tests are not a lot of use.

I probably have the Delta variant according to my sister. The symptoms are different to the original variant, which is why I didn’t realise what was happening. The Government, for some reason, isn’t publicising this. As a result, it looks like at least one nurse from the practice will be off work for ten days.

I feel bad about this, and have sent my apologies.

I’m isolating until next Thursday.

More later.

In was away at a funeral and did not see this post. I am really sorry about your misfortune and hope that recovery is under way. (I thought that I ought to check when you hadn’t appeared in the reader since I got back.)

Oh, good! I, too, have been worried about you. Thought I’d check the comments of this post to see if there were any updates, and yes, there were. Yay! So glad you are recovering.

Sorry you’re so tired, but very glad to read you’re allowed out tomorrow. Both my husband and daughter have been concerned about you two. Amazing the bonds we form through WordPress.

HOLY CRAP! Well, that does it! I am going to get my shot! My preacher and his wife had their shots a while back then he got COVID a few weeks ago. His wife never did get. His daughter now has it and has been in the hospital and her husband may have it now. They didn’t get vaccinated… Take care, my friend, and I hope you will be up and going very soon! You and Julia!

Oh, man that is bad and I am sorry you have it and had such experiences trying to find out. Take care of yourself and let us know how you’re doing when you feel up to it.

It’s slightly better today thanks. We are going to use separate beds for a few days as we have very different ideas on temperature. Julia slept half-way on top of the covers last night and I shivered all night. It seems she is positive too.

Oh, Simon, I’m so sorry to hear this. I know you did everything you could to keep everyone around you safe. But if you are getting false assurances from those tests, then they seem to do more harm than good, don’t they?

Take good care of yourself. I hope you have an easy go of it. Hugs to both you and Julia.

It’s OK at the moment thanks – being double vaccinated seems to make a lot of difference.

Are you OK after the earthquakes? I meant to ask but have just been so tired.

There was no damage where I am in Ballarat but one of my doors that has always stuck now opens and closes easily. But thank you for asking
