Well, despite my misgivings, it turned out to be a good night, although I was a bit late due to trouble parking. Maybe I’m more sociable than I think.
We went to Curry 2 Night in West Bridgford and I’d recommend it highly. Good service, good food and not many people there. I don’t like crowds. It’s really a take-away that has fitted itself out as a restaurant so the lack of customers isn’t significant. They had quite a few callers for takeaway so they kept busy.
I had the Aloo Mutter Paneer. I’m not sure it was as hot as the chillis in this recipe suggest. I’m a bit of a wimp these days and select milder options than I used to do.
I drank it with fizzy water.
I really can be quite boring at times.
.
Found a recipe, now to find Paneer…also, mild might be safer where digestion is concerned. I’m a mild person too.
🙂 I believe some people make their own paneer – I’ve never felt that dedicated.
Looks like the idea restaurant
It was very good.
I had a fish-finger sandwich at the Pig and Whistle!
We had fish finger sandwiches last week. 🙂
A true classic!
Sounds like my kind of night out. No crowds therefore not too noisy, agreeable company, good food – not too spicy.
Yes, it was a very pleasant night. 🙂
🙂
Sounds delicious!
It was. 🙂
I had a thai curry tonight in a box from M&S. The smell was a bit off putting but the taste was delicious.
Good to hear. I like thai curry, though I don’t actually get round to eat it often.
I had an air-fried pork steak and small cup of applesauce – I think I have you beat in the boring department! haha My water wasn’t even fizzy!!
I do love pork and apple. There are worse things than being boring – indigestion, for instance. 🙂
