Farewell to Mark

Mark is leaving us, as he is moving to the coast and it will be too far to come. It’s always a shame to lose someone, but it’s hard to be sad about it as he will be moving to a place with a nice sandy beach and an excellent chip shop. There are other things too, but with a beach and a chip shop what more do you really need?

Here are a few photos.

The cheery looking lady who keeps cropping up is Julie, who brings him across to the farm. We’ll miss her too, though she is a bit too cheerful for my tastes.

Right, that’s enough emotion for one day. Back to work.

Oh how I have missed all of you… things here in the states are well! Also very busy and I am so glad you stopped in and liked my Turkey noodle soup post. Can you believe it I have been asked to help develop a local fresh food market here in the Mountains of West Virginia. I am hoping to write about it after the holidays because everything is still up in the air. I have thought about your cooking classes and bread making and I am hoping to do some teaching much like you do for the local residents of my town. I may not have the farm but I can take what local farmer have and maybe make it easy for people buy and cook it! So excited and tired! thanks for the inspiration!
