My job on the farm is looking after the pigs, though it’s easy at the moment because we don’t have any pigs. We’re hoping to have some more in the next week or two.
One of the best things about the farm is seeing my friends.

Baking vanilla shortbread biscuits. We did a biscuit tasting and they were excellent, although people preferred the flavour of the orange and lemon flavoured ones, and Jody’s Welsh cakes.

We had the keets out today (baby guinea fowl) for the group to learn handling skills with small animals.
Keets are attracted to bright things – like ear rings!

I did my pig presentation today.
Pigs are very intelligent animals and they make a lot of different noises, including grunting, squealing, panting and coughing.
We are getting more pigs from the market next week.
