Nose to the grindstone today!
Parcels, putting stuff on eBay, putting more stuff on eBay then packing more parcels. A day of symmetry if nothing else.
Fortunately I’d recharged my soul in advance – sitting in the garden with Julia for 20 minutes before setting off for the shop.
I’m setting myself some 100 day challenges, and the first one is to write 100 posts in 100 days. If I manage that, I may try to write 100 good posts in 100 days. The two things, as I’ve said before, are not necessarily the same thing.
I may post again later, but for now I’ll content myself with making sure I’ve posted today.
Great challenge!

Well, you posted this day, so well done you. And it was nice to read you had some quiet lovely time with your wife…always good.

Yes, it’s probably the best time of the week. 🙂

A post a day is quite a challenge. Good luck!

Good luck. At least WP will keep count for you 🙂

Yes, though I have noticed that the count changes when the clocks go back/forward. I suppose it’s because I often post near midnight.

I once posted every day for a year, it was hard work and no one read them anyway.

I managed quite a long stretch once – you’re right about it being hard work, but quite enjoyable too.

I should have built up my reader base before embarking on the project!

I found that my reader base built up as I blogged consistently – it’s fallen off as I have become more erratic.
Chicken and egg, I suppose.

My stats remain constant even though I consistently add content. Frustrating!

Mine have gone down by about 50% over the last year. Most of the regulars still pop by – I think the rest is due to me not getting out on other sites and stirring up artificial interest.

As long as I retain my core group I’ll be happy.

I have always said that I will stop when I get to one million hits. At current rates that will take me another 500 days or so!

I just checked – looks like it’s another 80 years before I hit a million!

Thank you – I’ve been getting slack recently.

Why the challenge?

When I’ve done similar things before it’s improved my writing. I’ve also been getting a bit slack recently. And, of course, I need to make life difficult for myself. 🙂

I wouldn’t say slack or that you need to improve your writing 😊
